I was a very stupid child pt 1

Me: -thinks about it- .... I was a very stupid child when I was little. Some of the best examples speak for themselves. Like this one. Back when I was in middle school, I'd say about the 7th or 8th grade. One of my best friends lived a few blocks from school and asked me to hang out at her house one day. I agreed and was told to met her at the bike gate and we would head to her house.



On the way, she told me she had a confession to make and she wanted to tell me before anyone cause she thought I wouldn't get mad. I asked her what was wrong and she told me,".... Freckle... I think I'm gay... Well not think, I know I am." and I just stared at her for a moment. She got this worried look on her face, she thought I was going to stop being friends with her. What happened next made me now truly believe, there is something wrong with me.



Me: ..Your gay?

Friend: Yeah..

Me: ...So... What does that mean?

Friend: You don't know what being gay is?

Me: Noooooooooooo.

Friend:.... Its um... when u like girls more then boys.

Me: So, you like girls more then boys?

Friend: Yes.

Me: Wait! I like girls more then boys, does that mean I'm gay?!

Friend: No, wait! Its when you want to date a girl and not a boy, like you REALLY like a girl like how you would really like a boy!

Me:.. OH! So like, if I liked a boy and wanted to hold his hand, gay is when I feel that way towards a girl?

Friend: YEAH! Haha, thats what it is.

Me: I get it!

Friend: You not mad are you?

Me: Mad? No! I just realized I'm gay too! HEY! LETS HOLD HANDS!

Friend: Wait what?

Me: I like you more then I like boys, wanna be girlfriends?

Friend: uhhhh

Me: I have a girlfriend! This is AWESOME!



and I took her hand and we went to her house. I am not joking. This was my first gay out come. I laugh at it now and tease my friend about it since we literately were each other firsts lesbian experience.
